Spellbound by "Spellbound"

Spellbound is the most amazing movie ever. I laughed so hard I embarassed myself and will have to own it so I can laugh as hard as I want in private. This movie really had it all. Far, far, far better than any patriotic war movie to make me feel that the "American Spirit" is alive and well and that the "American Dream" is flourishing. I am all aglow and ready to strive.

The View From the Top

You mean Paris, First Class, International didn't make you happy? Dude. That's heavy. This was a very cute movie (I really did enjoy it. No, really.), which has totally made me realize that I, too, can achieve my dreams of having a successful career and a boyfriend. All I have to do is become a pilot! Wait.

Going Downhill...

S**** and J**** accompanied me to the movies tonight; we saw Chicago (not bad, worth $10). Highlights from this moviegoing experience include:
1. A group of 3-4 kids standing up near the end of the movie and shouting, "This movie sucks!" before running out of the theater.
2. A patron near the front of the theater answering this outburst in kind, "Then get the Hell out of here!."
3. The girl in the seat behind me giving her boyfriend a handjob. Is it just me, or should you follow proper theater decorum and sit in the BACK ROW WHERE PEOPLE CAN'T TELL WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!????
